WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE
•Slight redness and discomfort may be present for the first two days.
•The day after your procedure, color will appear darker as it begins to heal.
•If you strictly follow aftercare you should have very minimal flaking beginning around the 5th
day. DO NOT pick, scratch or peel any skin as this will cause pigment loss.
•As your eyebrows heal, you will see strokes shrink in height, widen and the color will
soften.
•Once flaking is complete, there will still be a nearly invisible layer of skin that will make your
color appear faded. Within the first two weeks of flaking you will notice the color start to come
back as the skin repairs itself. By your second session you will notice a lot of color has returned.
•Depending on skin type and proper aftercare it is not unusual to see some strokes fade or
disappear. After the 6-8 week healing period, you can get them touched up.
•The touch up is to go over the strokes or shadow again, or replace any that may have
disappeared. This is why the treatment is a two-step process.
•Your touch up will ensure the longevity of your color, hair strokes and shading, 3 months should
be the maximum amount of time before a touch up.
AFTER CARE:
Please follow, failure to do so many result in undesirable results.
Aftercare is extremely important to follow, to ensure good retention of the pigment during the
healing process.
• Do not have extended or excessive contact with water or any other liquids than what is recom-
mended for at least 10 days after treatment. Even a small drop which seems unimportant may
expand the wound and scabbing will appear .
• Clean the area with a small amount of water on a cotton pad twice daily (morning & night) for the first 2 days. This will help remove any excess lymph, blood and pigment that may appear after the procedure. Follow this with a tiny amount of aftercare serum or coconut oil.
•Make sure your eyebrows are not greasy, but moistened a little so you won’t see any residue of the oil.
• Day 4-10 or until you peel, use the brow soap provided, a gentle soap or non greasy facial cleanser to keep the eyebrows clean.
• Avoid applying any makeup to your brow area, DO NOT get concealer, powder or anything on the area for at least 7-10 days. This can cause color loss, infection, scabbing or a grey/blue tint to your brows.
• Do not use other ointments, cream with vitamins or antibiotics on eyebrows during the healing process.
• No sunbathing or tanning for 4 weeks. This will cause color loss, damage to the area and unpredictable tones in your brows.
• No chemical peels, mesotherapy, dermabrasion, botox and any other strong treatments for 4 weeks.
• Avoid exercise that causes excessive sweating for a 7 to 10 days. This will cause color loss,
scabbing and a grey or blue tint to your brows.
• Avoid excessively hot showers for at least 10 days.
• No hot tubs or swimming until your brows have healed.
